“…shortly before the show started, dr. demento showed up and sat down
among the guests of honor. raymond and scum were on first. i liked
their safety tip a lot, but i was disappointed that they didn’t play it. the
rest of the first few acts featured various comedy soloists or duos,
usually with just a guitar as an instrument. one memorable band was
the turtlenecks. well, for me at least. i think 1/2 the bar left during their
set. but i thought they were really funny…”
